Nanette started dancing at only three years old. In her teens, she took her training to another level training between 15 and 20 hours a week alongside school. She became increasingly interested in more styles of dancing and started to see the value of adding diversity to her training. In the youth company Bårdar Talent, Nanette received training in a number of dance styles in addition to an annual dance performance at one of Oslo’s theaters choreographed by both national and international choreographers.

After secondary school, Nanette joined the nationwide ballet program at Edvard Munch High School. Ballet, jazz and modern dance became a part of her every day school schedule, while she trained contemporary, commercial, hip-hop and tap on the side. After completing three years of High School, Nanette enrolled directly into the Commercial Performing Arts program at Bårdar Academy. Ballet, jazz, commercial, breakdance, latin and singing were some of the many subjects, in addition to audition techniques with the industry’s leading producers, directors and choreographers.

A year later, Nanette graduated from Bårdar and went directly into work as an artist at Wallmans Salonger in Oslo. At only 20, Nanette has managed to perform on stages such as VG-Lista, Norway Cup, Norwegian Idol, Allsang på Grensen, and Stjernekamp. On top of this she has performed as a semifinalist in Norways Got Talent, recorded a music video for the song Grandiosa by TIX, toured with illusionist Alexx Alexxander where they covered large parts of Norway, toured Zürich in Switzerland with the tapdance performance ZigityBop with hoofer Cartier Williams, performed the musical Jersey Boys at Chateau Neuf, in addition to the production of Cirque du Blipp at Latter in Oslo and toured in Bergen.
