Jersey Boys

The musical has won 55 prestigious US international awards, including a TONY and an English Oliver for Best Musical. In addition, it has won a Grammy and sold millions of tickets worldwide. In Norway, it has also made the reviewers bring out their superlatives and the highest scores on the dice. They were just four normal boys from Jersey until they had their first hit. We follow the band from the start of their career, through hard times with many personal defeats – and up to the overwhelming success that made the welcoming working-class boys the symbol of an entire generation. They had a sound no one had heard before and the world couldn’t get enough. Before they turned 30, they had sold over 175 million albums.
